…I feel so full of lyrics and expression right now that i dont know how to contain it all , waves of emotion being poured through the tunnelling tube of a pen……….!!!
Over the last few days I have been listening to a few UK artists who i feel make HEARTFELT music, music that really speak from the heart…MUSIC that is truly VULNERABLE..for me Wretch 32 does that beautifully in a song where he speaks about his strained relations with his ex-partner after having a baby with her, also the struggles in being a father and making it as a recording artist.Another song he asks the Lord to have Mercy on situations he has been in from the past.
ALL THAT I NEED
REMEMBER THE TITAN
Another song is by Bashy called CHANGE , in this song he recalls his mistakes and things he would have done different relating to his Family,and past situations.
This truly redirected my thinking when approaching lyrics, this song made me feel his pain and situation without even knowing him personally .I thought about my lyrics and how I want people to FEEL my LIFE through the speakers,to truly understand what it is to live as a Christian victoriously and at sometimes defeated.
The Christian faith is a process that one learns each day , a relationship that has its up and downs but continues and grows in love:)..i want to document that in MUSIC.
I’ve recorded 2 freestyles , the first one called GREEN WITH ENVY’ -which speaks about people i used to envy in the Gospel scene and the jealousy I dealt with during that period, the second is yet to be titled but it speaks from the heart about an array of situations….I wanna make HEART MUSIC! …this new direction aint gonna be an easy one because it is very vulnerable music, but I beleive that it has the potential to connect and hopefully provide channels and avenues for Jesus to speak through…God help me!

Hey guys,
Would like you to have a look at this interview , take time to HEAR not LISTEN and let me know your thoughts..not your judgemental thoughts …but thoughts of careful deliberation…you may need to watch more than once.
The key thing I want you to focus on is the part about desire-what happens when you desire MEN over WOMEN?How do you condemn preference?or taste? What do you do if you’ve asked to be delivered from it but still find the same sex attractive..what do you do?where do you go for help? Do you suffer in silence..or act on impulse? hmmmmmm……questions !questions!!..your thoughts:)..lol
I have followed TONEX for quite a while and can honestly say I look up to him and respect him in a massive way, his translucent demeanor and expression ,speaks on behalf of the hearts that are struggling in their relationship with God ,imprisoned by silence for fear of backlash and retribution from the ‘CHURCH’ setup…not everything he does is correct but I still applaud his willingness to get things wrong to eventually get things right….keep him in your prayers!

Dear Andy,
“I see ..i said, jealousy ..i said ..got the whole industry mad at me I said!!”
(this is the way me and Andy greet each other…cant quite remember how it started …lol)
What can I say it seems that the standards and levels of events in this scene of ours continues to rise with each leap and bound ,yesterday your event was another one of those leaps,last week we had MICHAELA(PLUG! PLUG !BUY THE ALBUM!!) truly amazing!,and then you came and raised the bar again with your wonderful ADVENTURES!!
Bro I love you so much….because what ever you do, you do with EXCELLENCE!From the flyer to the videos..you dont like MEDIOCRITY and have taught me NEVER to put out anything less than the BEST ……you always say if your doing it for the KING of KINGS do it to your best ability!!!!………thank you SIR for that lesson in action yesterday!
Just want to start of with a big shout out to :12TWELVE PRODUCTIONS,NEXT LEVEL EVENTS,MARY FAPOHUNDA & MERMAID THEATRE MANAGEMENT for having us!:)
EH BREUV!!….With a prompt and punctual start (I witnessed for myself the doors open at 6.29pm!!)the electricity and anticipation in the air was evident and mutually shared by the full house audience, as the poured into the Mermaid Theatre.
From the days of VOV you have been a prominent figure in pushing through different talents not just of your own ,but more notably realising the potential in others and using the tool of UNITY to push them through into the main spotlight.
Bibles ,Bibles is a classic example:
Yesterday was YOUR night and YOUR time to enter that spotlight…and may I say with EXCELLENCE ,CREATIVITY AND HUMILITY you did just that.
Your opening entrance delivering packages of plantain and yam set the tone for a night that was riddled with laughter, tears of joy, aching rib cages and musical delight. The strength of who you are lies in the fact that you are soooo multi-talented, you DANCE ,ACT and often overlooked have a wonderful voice. Each talent was exhibited in the most hilarious and adventurous way as you proceeded to sing about traffic lights- RED , AMBER,GREEN!!! and dance to Michael..lol
Your musical guests were chosen carefully and purposely to continue the trait of excellence-RACHEL KERR(swiftly becoming the Queen of Stage Presence),4KORNERS(GLOBE TROTTERS …GO ASK ABOUT THEM IN HOLLAND!!)..both acts brought their own musical adventure to the night giving the audience variety and diversity.
Your humility enabled a smittened gentleman mount the stage and propose to his long term partner(i must admit i was a bit scared for him as it seemed like he lost the ring when he kept reaching int his pocket and bringing up air ..lol..anybody else feel this?….).
The closing game show was the height of crowd participation and was certainly a segment that made us feel part of the evening rather than just mundane spectators.
Andy….I’ve noticed from talking to you and seeing you host shows across the UK, you rarely prepare or rehearse your material, everything comes off the cuff..your comedy is based predominatly on spontaneity and this is what people love about you the most!..we love the ‘LIVE BAND’ feel to your artistry that means anything or anyone can get picked up on in your comedy at ANYTIME!!….it is this freedom and liberty in humour that kept us on the edge of our seats, it is that concept that had us stamping the floor in laughter, it is the reason we had to stand up on our feet clapping at the end , in awe of what a night we had experienced.
Andy ….thank you for your medicine of laughter, for at times you are unaware of the sicknesses of life we carry within us when we come to events that you host , but your artistry,persona and love for God.. let us know we can smile again.
